Ces Turbo setosus sont communs dans l' Indo-Pacifique. Tellement commun, abondant je devrais dire, qu' en certains lieux il sert de nourriture comme nos bigorneaux. Il est fréquent sur les brocantes d'où il vient et rarement en bon état; toujours sans opercule!!! L'autre vient d'une vieille collection américaine ce qui explique le présence de son opercule. Taille: 49 et 40 mm.
These Turbo setosus are common in the Indo-Pacific. So common, plentiful I should say, that in some places it serves as food like our periwinkles. It is common on flea markets where it comes from and rarely in good condition; always without operculum !!! The other comes from an old American collection which explains the presence of its operculum. Size: 49 and 40 mm.
